DESCRIPTION -
This is Shakudo's Fuchi.The Shakudo (赤銅) is alloy of copper with gold.The motif of Fuchi is bat (蝙蝠) and bridge pole.Bridge Paul attached Ukiyoe's image. Please take a look.The decoration is Shakudo, inlaid with gold and copper.
Please look at the photos. Look at Fuchi's Tenjo. It has a blue rust unique to copper. Bright copper color tried to remove rust. There...fore, it has become the original color.
