Here's a unique little stool, or table, that I acquired from the estate of a retired military nurse. She was stationed in the Orient after WWII and returned to the U.S. with a home full of Asian décor and furniture.This cube shaped piece is constructed using solid wood. It feels very strong and solid. You can assess the construction by viewing the photo of the bottom. Structurally there is no weakness or damage. It is "cut out" on all four sides giving a shadow box eff...ect. The finish is a shiny black enamel or lacquer. The finish is in pretty good shape except for the top. The top has some spottiness and one corner has a few dings. I've shown a close up of the worst.Overall the stool measures 14 1/2" square and 13 1/4" tall.
