VINTAGE 1940 Walt Disney VERNON KILNS WHITE GODDESS VASE #126
The Goddess Vase #126 is one of three vase varieties created by Vernon Kilns for the Walt Disney Studios and was based on the 1940 Disney feature film, Fantasia. Made in high relief in several color combinations.
This is an striking (no pun intended) image of a Goddess as she pulls back on the "bow" (which is actually the moon) while standing among the clouds in a star filled celestial night. The back side contin...ues with the clouds and stars motif. All are wonderfully displayed in a three-dimension on this lovely VINTAGE Vernon Kilns/Disney vase.
CONDITION: EXCELLENT! Note: On the back side is a very small, very light area of paint transfer that is part of the final glazed result.
