Vintage 1960’s “Broadstreet's Exclusive Men’s Clothing Store”Black Wool Overcoat. 5th Avenue, NY, NY and Chicago(Broadstreet's went out of business in 1968)Immaculate ConditionThis is a maximum high quality wool coat especially for its age. Label says: “Imported Fabric”“Broadstreet’s”“New York - Chicago”The Union Label on this coat dates between 1962-1968.(Even the Label is in Excellent Condition)There is no written size but it f...its me like a perfect XL which I wear.It’s condition is so good that it looks brand new and never worn.The heavy black wool is in perfect condition with zero wear (in all the usual wear places).The silky inner lining is also in Immaculate/Excellent Condition. Inside the inner pocket are 2 labels in perfect condition: The first one is an “Amalgamated Garment Workers Union Of America" label, "1949” with a ID Number:The second label is an unused personal label sewn into the inner pocket.The 2 outside side pockets are very well made and the left one has a pocket in a pocket.The coat has no odor at all (no smoke, no old house smell, no mothball smell). I do not know how it was stored all these years to be in such great condition, but seems it must have been purchased back in the 1960’s by someone, and never worn, and then carefully stored away.In regards to quality condition, this is probably a one of a kind Broadstreet's Wool OvercoatThis "Buy it Now" price is a steal.
