These F3s headed up a couple of freight train sets from those years and are among the sharpest of Lionel's Postwar F3s. There is a light in the nose that illuminates the cab, headlight and number boards. It has an operating pilot coupler and all other couplers are fixed. Both units have die-cast side frame trucks. The powered A unit features dual vertical motors with magnetraction and electronic horn.
