You are bidding on an important vintage 1931 artist signed Lenore Asbury 10 1/2" Rookwood vase. It measures appr. 3 1/2" across the top and 3 1/4" across the bottom. It is in great condition. A wonderful pot to represent. A real work of art. There are no chips or cracks. The glaze is super drippy. It is quite heavy. It is well proportioned for it's size. There is no crazing but there are a handf...ul of small marks about the size of a pin head or less in a few different areas. I have never seen this before but it does not bother me or take away from the vase. It is quite dirty on the inside. I did not try to clean it up. There is some light scratching on the unglazed bottom ring. Bid with confidence because there will be no disappointment if you win it. This vase has been in a china cabinet for the last 45 years that we know of. She was an advanced Rookwood collector and this was one of her favorites. Please mail with any questions.
