Vintage Ingersoll 1930s Mickey Mouse Mechanical Wrist WatchThis version of the Mickey Mouse watch was made between 1938 to 1942... it’s sometimes called ‘five notches’ or ‘fluted’ due to the shape of the case.This style of watch was worn by the character ‘Pink’ who was played by Bob Geldof in Alan Parkers 1982 film of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’.Classic, iconic and niche... and very collectible!In very good overall condition, with marks and wear commensurate with age an...d use.The Chrome Case is in excellent overall condition.Original dial and hands in very good condition. The colours are not faded.Original acrylic crystal has light marks and has slightly yellowed but is mostly clean and clear.Not in working condition, it’s wound tight. The hairspring is intact and the balance rotates nicely so it would definitely benefit from a service.There is overall wear commensurate with age and use... not surprisingly as it’s 85 years old!Measures approx 27mm wide (excluding crown) and 41mm long (including lugs).Comes fitted with new black leather strap (lug size 14).Please note: This is a vintage character watch, they were originally mass produced and not manufactured to high quality standards.Please see photos, thanks.I have added two screen shots from Pink Floyd’s The Wall movie with a close up of Pinks watch and also with Bob Geldof wearing one.
