YOU ARE BIDDING ON A VINTAGE BLACKSMITH POST LEG VISE 3 3/4" JAW, VISE PORTION ONLY for PARTS, BENCH TOP. This vise was originally a POST VICE of which the leg was cut off thus it was made to be bench mounted. The jaws measure 4" with the lead screw measuring 12" long and has a handle of 10". Overall the vise body measures 13" in length and 5" in width. The bench mounting oval has 3 mounting holes and measures 4" x 3". The vise spring needs to be replaced since it does not maintain pressure on... the vise as it is opened and closed. The spring is riveted through the body. It can be manually operated and closed securely without the use of the spring. There are no cracks or breaks in the metal. The spring put pressure on the jaws from o to 1" opening beyond the 1" opening the spring no longer applies pressure.
