Vintage Chinese Jade Figurine. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This figurine of a child holding a book commemorative to moa zedong chairman of China 1949, under my jewelers loop I could see the striated marks in the stone, also more visible is a repair in her hands I thought the line was a natural inclusion but under the loop it appears as a repair, so smooth that the line feels as one. I had revised this auction to show exactly what this item is after I had a Chinese person translate... what was written on the book. He said 1st president of China. He was a sweet older Chinese gentleman and was very kind on helping me know what I had. Totally made my day. I hope this piece finds a special place with a new home.
