The winning bidder gets this VINTAGE JAPANESE MILITARY (I think) Field Doctor’s Surgeon’s Surgery Kit. Please note that I am NOT a “Military Collector”. Here’s what I THINK I know about this Kit. The Kit contains the following items: A Hand Saw that measures ~12” overall. It has some light surface rusting but is still QUITE sharp. A small axe or chopper & Sheath – it is ~7⅜” long by ~1½” wide. The blade is 5/16” thick at ...the wrapped handle. It has some VERY light surface rusting but is still QUITE sharp. It has some Japanese(?) characters on it. Forgive me if they are upside-down in the scans OR BETTER YET, let me know so that I can flip them over! A small knife (?) & wooden Sheath – it is ~6⅞” long by ~1” wide. The blade is ⅛” thick at the handle. It has some VERY light surface rusting but is still QUITE sharp. It has some Japanese(?) characters on it. Forgive me if they are upside-down in the scans OR BETTER YET, let me know so that I can flip them over! A hypodermic Needle Plunger ONLY – it measures ~8 ½” long when opened and ~5½” long when closed. The plunger shaft is no longer very straight. It is unmarked. A Scalpel – it is ~6” long overall and is no longer very sharp. It is unmarked. The Original (?) carry case with the funky orange fabric. I do NOT know for certain if it is original, but it IS what this stuff was stored in when I found it. It is unmarked. There is also a pair of small cuticle-style scissors & sheath included. They are marked Henkel. I do NOT think that they are original to the other stuff! They are NOT pictured, but they ARE included. The Kit came from an estate in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
