CONDITION-Perfectly like new in every way. This one owner car was always displayed in a glass enclosed cabinet that provided a dust free and smoke free environment.
PAINT-High luster, flawless, and factory correct "JALAPENA RED."
EXTERIOR FEATURES-Distinctive an...d unique GT Model trim and labeling. All features are proportionate and perfectly located. Nothing has ever been missing, replaced, broken, or repaired. Special to this car are the "TWISTER II" logos and features. This is a period correct 'hatchback" design. Everything is displayed as perfect to this KANSAS CITY ZONE market vehicle. The appearance is exactly as it would be delivered new. This is probably the rarest of the 1985 Model Year MUSTANG. The serialized license plate designates this car as #0148/0500.
FIT-All the body panels, paint lines, and trim lines align and conform perfectly with a tight fit throughout. There are no sags or gaps. The stance is level and equal at all 4 points.
INTERIOR-Factory correct texture and patterns to the two tone dark and light GREY bucket seats, panels, visors, dashboard, carpet, and hatchback area. The dashboard details, gauges, steering wheel, console, shifter, and all interior trim is displayed as per the actual car. The Hatchback and Chassis also feature various correctly colored, located, and functional, as designed, features.
MECHANICAL DETAILS-Extensively detailed, correctly colored, labeled, and component complete 5.0-302 C.I. V-8 that was rated at 210 H.P. This is mated to a correctly displayed 5-speed shifter.
BOX-Just like the car, the box is "as new." The car is protected by the full styrofoam encasement. For protection, the radio antenna was removed and is packaged separately with the car.
HISTORY-For the 1985 Model Year FORD produced a total of #156, 514 MUSTANG vehicles in all configurations. Of this total, #84, 623 "HATCHBACK" cars were manufactured. Only #90 "TWISTER II" cars were designed and designated strictly to the KANSAS CITY SALES ZONE. *(NOTE-In 1970 the original "TWISTER" Model preceded this car in the same sales zone). The HATCHBACK design was featured on #76 of the "TWISTER II" cars and #74 of the "TWISTER II" cars were 5-speed equipped.
