CONDITION-Absolutely perfect in every way. This car was always displayed in a glass enclosed cabinet that provided a dust free and smoke free environment.
PAINT-High luster, flawless, and completely factory correct "BRIGHT BLUE METALLIC"-(B5). This is accented by BLACK T/A accents.
EXTERIOR FEATURES-Completely accurate, unique, distinctive, and extensively featured CHALLENGER T/A MODEL paint trim, performance features, and labeling. All features are proportionate and perfectly located. Nothing has ever been missing, replaced, broken, or repaired. Some of the specific features would include the correct flat black T/A hood and chrome pin hold-downs, T/A bright black side trim and labeling, chrome exhaust features ahead of the rear wheels, a black spoiler, correct factory rally wheels with raised white letter black wall tires, and more. Everything is both period correct and accurate to the portrayal of this distinctive Model.
FIT-All the body panels, paint lines, and trim lines align and conform perfectly with a tight fit throughout. There are no sags or gaps. The stance is equal and level at all 4 points.
INTERIOR-Factory correct material and patterns to the BLACK bucket seats, panels, visors, dashboard, carpet, rear shelf, and other features. Even the glove box opens and closes. The dashboard details, steering wheel, pedals, shifter, and all interior trim is displayed as per the actual car. Both the trunk and chassis display numerous details that are correctly colored, located, and some being functional as designed.
MECHANICAL DETAILS-Incredible and extensive detailing with displays of correctly colored, labeled, wired, plumbed, and component complete display of the T/A 340 C.I., 3x2 bbl. induction V-8 that was rated at 290 H.P. This is mated to the proper 4-speed "pistol grip" shifter which is another unique MOPAR feature.
BOX-The original box, just like the car, is in excellent condition. The viewing windows are intact and clear. The box also displays the unique SUPERCAR logos, a dealership diorama background, and a narrative specific to the T/A Model.
HISTORY-For the 1970 Model Year DODGE produced a total of #75, 935 CHALLENGERS in all renditions. Of this total, #2, 399 CHALLENGER T/A models were manufactured and #989 of these were 4-speed equipped.
