Vintage African necklace is made up of handmade Amber (Bakelite) beads. Bakelite dates from about 1910 with production continuing as late as WWII.  It is made from bits of Amber and Phenolic resin.  This necklace is from before 1970 and also has red coral beads on it as well as the Bakelite.  It is hand strung on brown cord, and weighs 12.6 ounces.  It is 26 inches long and from a personal collection.  Bear in mind that color can vary from monitor to monitor.&n...bsp; US shipping ONLY
