This is a gorgeous, Navajo concho belt set with turquoise! The buckle and conch (there are 9 of them) are large and dramatic. The turquoise is vibrant. The sterling silver conchos are all set with turquoise. The workmanship is amazing! The conchos are all stamped with traditional designs in a radial pattern. Hallmarked AW on the back of the buckle. That could possibly be Anita Whitegoat - of that I am not 100% sure, but I cannot find another Navajo silversmith artist with the... same initials. This is a breath-taking belt! A total show stopper! I have personally taken this belt to an expert jeweler to confirm the silver is sterling and the turquoise stones are authentic. The tests proved it is all authentic. The belt is a soft black leather in excellent shape. The photo of the AW signature appears to have rust--it is only the color of my cell phone (coral) reflecting in the silver. This belt is in excellent condition!Ponchos and concho buckle are 3" by 2 3/8"Center stones are approx 5/8" by 1/2" (they each vary slightly in size)Total length is 35" end to endHole at about 28", 30", 31", 31-3/4", 32-1/4", 33", 33-3/4", and 34", of course you can punch a hole wherever needed. Total weight approximately 15.2 oz. (430 g).
