SELDOM SEEN HUBLEY AIRPLANE AIRACUDA ~ Front Guns ~ Folding Wheels ~REAR PROPS ... Can you find another ....? And one that is complete ....? This plane certainly was one of the oddest airplanes built for the US Air Force.The Airacuda first flew on 1 september 1937.It was Bell Aircraft`s answer for a bomber destroyer aircraft and was made in a limited production.Only one prototype and 12 production models were ultimately built and today none remain.
You are bidding on an Old HUBLEY SELDOM SEEN COMPLETE Vintage Toy Airplane called the Airacuda. I believe this was one of the nicest airplanes Hubley made AND ONE OF THE HARDEST TO FIND.. It has a wing span of 10" and the length is 7".The 2 front mounted machine guns do swivel, landing gear will fold up and down, both props spin, and most original decals remain. It is marked on top of tail wing ...U.S. ARMY and K-801 on front wing. On bottom it is marked HUBLEY U.S.A. Please see pictures for condition, complete.....
