Welcome to Jewel Box :-) A wonderful necklace by Neiger Brothers wired with graduated rare pink peking glass beads. These are usually found in green. The beads were made with a laborious process in Czechoslovakia in which the glass beads were rubbed over deeper glass powders in order to achieve the speckled appearance. The largest bead is app 15 mm and is protected with beautiful decorative gilt metal caps which are impressed with a lovely floral art de...co design. The beads on either side are a bit deeper in shade and have petal caps. The gilt beads on either side of these are decorated with an all over art deco design as are the cylindrical beads further along the necklace. The necklace fastens with a secure ring bolt clasp ~ this is plated but has sufficient wear for me to think it is the original (i will take an image so you can make up your mind) and is fastened to the jump ring which is signed for being made in Czechoslovakia.
The necklace is 14.6 inches long which is a VERY SMALL size so please measure carefully before buying. Alternatively because of the construction a few jump rings can be added. Whilst scrutinising the beads i have found that one of the smaller ones on the side of the cylindrical bead has a line ~ this cannot be felt with the finger nail and is not visible in wear ~ shown in last image.
Any boxes, mannequins or fabrics are for display only. Everything is photographed in natural light with a flash. We do not enhance colours but there could be difference between browsers etc. If you need an item to be a specific colour please ask before bidding.

We do accept returns for anything that we have not described correctly but in the case of change of mind we will not be able to refund the initial postage cost. We are human beings and on occasion will probably make a mistake but will do everything we can to resolve one if it happens. A bit about me : i worked for many years in the Antiques Trade specialising first in antique clothing and Textiles and then i specialised in Art Deco and Art Nouveau, generally glass and sculpture and metal ware. i stood at many of the top fairs eg Olympia, Claridges, The Dorchester, The NEC and bought and sold in Sothebys, Christies and Bonhams. i appeared on TV a few times as an Expert, served on Vetting Committees and so on. i gave up the Material World for a number of years whilst i concentrated on Meditation, Healing and other Spiritual endeavours but am now selling on Ebay to pay the rent :-) i really do love the pieces that pass through my hands and i enjoy 'meeting' people across the globe and feel good making them feel good. i try to follow the Reiki precepts ~ one of which is 'To earn an honest living'.
