An attractive and unusual pair of vintage silver plated dragon or gryphon, gothic beast candlesticks or chambersticks the (curled tails can act as finger holds)..
The items are quite detailed with textured wings and bodies, as well as red glass eyes.
The curled tails could act as finger holds so that the items could be used as chambersticks.
These would make an ideal and unusual pair to add to any collection of antique gothic items.
They would look stunning in candl...elight placed on a mantelpiece, side or dining table.
They are each approx. 5.5 inches 913 cm) long and 8 inches (20 cm) in height.
Very unusually, the leg/wing pieces are actually screwed to the bodies, hence the sligh movement already mentioned.
