MTH Premier 2-Rail O Conrail GE Dash-8 #6055 (20-2004-2)—Beautifully Weathered! Condition is Used.
Talk about a massive hunk of locomotive! For your consideration is a custom weathered MTH Premier 2-RAIL O-Scale Conrail GE Dash-8 40CW #6055 (20-2004-2). NOTE: I PHOTOGRAPHED THE LOCOMOTIVE ON MY 3-RAIL LAYOUT, BUT I ASSURE YOU IT IS A 2 RAIL LOCOMOTIVE. According to MTH, this locomotive was delivered in October 1993 and included the following features: Electronic Horn, Flywheel Can... Motor, Directional Lights, 6 Wheel C Trucks. I bench tested it and can confirm all of those features except for the horn; I can't even see a speaker anywhere. It responded a bit sluggishly, suggesting it needed some lubrication.
I though the previous owner had installed DCC, but I certainly could find no evidence of it. Regardless, this locomotive would be an excellent candidate for DCC with sound.
I do not have the original box or paperwork.
