Turkish made M5A1 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle.This is a very distinctive bayonet with its uncommon aluminum grips.Blade is in good condition and still in the cosmoline with no signs of sharpening.Numbered "463" on pommel.Uncommon early style leather frog attached to a webbed belt strap.This early style is very hard to find since they were usually removed when demilled by the Turkish government.Used condition with wear to scabb...ard and soiling to webbing.See my other auctions for a Turkish M5A1 bayonet with webbed hanger and belt hook.See the photos.
