You are bidding on a wonderful c.1900 (trademark stamp is from 1887-1924) H.L Leonard bamboo fly rod! This rod is true estate fresh, and in untouched original condition. Original varnish, wrappings, cork, etc. Beautiful rod! Each of the components is about 58", so together, it is around a 14 foot rod. The largest and last ring came off of the rod when it was being removed from the sock, but is present and will not be difficult to re-attach. There ar...e a couple of dings in the metal ferrule in one localized spot as pictured. Everything is straight and true, wrappings are tight. Knob at base of rod is crackled, but solid. No apparent visible issues or repairs. Original sock is stained but has protected the rod well over the years. Regardless of its excellent condition, it is being sold for display, use, parts, repair, restoration, etc. No refunds or refunds.
