This is a vintage metal Looney Tunes lunch box and matching metal thermos. Made by American Thermos Company copyright 1959 Warner Bros. This is a really cute set with very fun graphics from the cartoons featuring many of the characters. The box displays great and is in great condition. It has some edge wear, some surface scrapes and scratches, and some discolored areas and corrosion around some of the edges. The lid opens and closes and the latch works. The inside is pr...etty good but has some spots of paint loss and appears someone has tried to spray paint some of it (see purplish spattered areas on inside of lid).
The thermos is also really cute and in great condition. It does have a little surface wear and small slightly discolored spots. The original sticker is coming off on one side but I chose to leave it on. The rims have turned dark. The cup, bottom, and metal underneath the cup are all still shiny. The inside of the thermos appears intact.
