This charming lithographed clockwork "King Edward VII" "L.N.W.R. 1902" locomotive and tender by "Bing" are in "as found" condition.The locomotive and tender have retained much of its' original black paint work and lining, this has a good depth of colour and it has only minor chips, scuffs, scratches and marks.The pressed detailing is still crisp and clean.The letters and numbers are in good order, with only minor losses.The embossed "Bing" logo to the front of the locomotive and base ...of the tender are still legible.I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.The piston and connecting rod is missing to one side and the hook is broken to the rear of the locomotive.The dome on top of the boiler may be a replacement. The wheels and cogs move smoothly, but I can't get the motor to wind on.The locomotive measures 148.5 cm (5 3/4 inches) long buffer to buffer. Locomotive.
This charming lithographed clockwork "King Edward VII" "L.N.W.R. 1902" locomotive and tender by "Bing" are in "as found" condition. The locomotive and tender have retained much of its' original black paint work and lining, this has a good depth of colour and it has only minor chips, scuffs, scratches and marks.
The pressed detailing is still crisp and clean.
The letters and numbers are in good order, with only minor losses.
The embossed "Bing" logo to the front of the locomotive and base of the tender are still legible.
I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.
