Vintage Texas Instruments Compact Computer 40

Up for sale is a vintage Texas Instruments Compact Computer 40.  The auction includes the computer, its original box (see photos for condition), User's Guide, CC-40 BASIC Quick Reference Guide, a Read Me First leaflet.  The box also includes the original set of four AA batteries as seen in the photograph.  After 30+ years of age, I doubt the batteries will work for you.  If you would like them removed prior to shipment, please let me know.  Again, the unit itse...lf does not have any batteries installed.  The batteries being referred to are the sealed ones in photo.  Although the box is open open, the unit appears to be in new condition.
Update:  I tested the unit with 4 AA batteries and it does boot up with a message "System Initialized".  Please see photo.  Sorry, did not know what to do from there.
