Vintage 1940 ' S Posters Standard Oil Huge

This is a pair of unbelievable original vintage posters from the 1940's. I got them many years ago in San Francisco at an estate sale of a former in-house graphic artist for Standard Oil. I sold off all the rest of the things i got back then but always kept these thinking that they were so cool so i would frame them someday. Never did. So now they go to you. They are both 41" x 55" so huge format posters-both Lithographed in US. The RPM -Front Wheel Bearings one is marked L...-454. It is truly in Mint cond beyond the folds which is clearly how they were both stored since they were made. The Chevron Supreme one marked R-223 would also be considered minty but for the fact that one of the corners of the folded poster was somehow burned at some point. You can see that the 2 points where the slight paper loss are visible run along the center fold. Pictures should tell you what you need to know. Still an incredibly striking poster that would look great mounted/framed. Enjoy!
