Up for auction is this antique Chinese famille porcelain Nyonya Peranakan Straits kamcheng lidded warming tureen bowl.
Late 19th / Early 20th C piece made for the South East Asian market and a rare larger sized tureen!
Blue ground, pink banded upper and lower rims and beautiful enameled floral vine scrolls, Shou characters for longevity and bats for happiness. Foo dog / beast finial on lid.
The tureen bowl and lid are both in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or losse...s. Looks perfect inside and outside!
Measures 9.25” inches tall and 7.3” inches wide (235 mm, 185.4 mm).
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a unique gift.
