Beautiful quality genuine 99 year old examples, (definitely not modern re-productions); miniature little silver vanity mirrors designed to hang from a chatelaine chain, one is decorated with engraved ribbons and swags and the other has an attractive "reed and cross" border and is engraved "RMS Carmania" (ocean liner). Both are complete with their original mirror glass and silver border frames. They also have their silver attachment rings. Measurements The larger measures approx. 3.5 inches (89mm) x 2 inches (51mm) and the smaller measures 2.5 inches (67mm) x 1.45 inches (37mm).Date English antique solid sterling silver, each have a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1920, (date letter "v").Maker Silversmiths initials "C & N" (Crisford & Norris Ltd).
Condition Both in good condition, with no splits or solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents, just a few tiny little pin-head surface bruises, really nothing much at all and nice examples. The glass mirrors are both original and both have their silver retaining border frames, they are still in nice condition, no cracks or hairlines and still pretty clear, just minor age foxing.
