Another big Japanese tin car by Ichiko and Masudaya. This 1953 fat boy Lincoln convertible measuresapproximately 14" long (35.6 cm) by 4.5” tall (11.4 cm) and 7" wide (17.8cm). Collectors have referred to thiscar as a Pontiac for years, but Ichiko and Masudaya called it a Super Lincoln. Thisoriginal sophisticated black convertible is extremely nice and very impressive.The colorful lithographed tin interior is outstanding and really stands outfrom the deep black exterior.&...nbsp; Lithographedtin convertibles are notorious for scratches, abrasions and fadedinteriors. Finding one in this conditionis quite unusual. The car is complete with all original tin trim, hubcaps, and rubbertires. The friction and the siren sound work, as they should and the burgundy baseplateis original. The red plastic taillightsand amber headlight inserts are original. The celluloid window is original, however it is slightly loose at the bottom of the windshield frame. You can’tsee it in the photos, but it bears mentioning.
