KATO N-scale Locomotive Set, Type F-7-ABA, Kansas City Southern, “Southern Belle”, Preowned. Condition is Used. All 3 units are powered. Since retiring and moving to Florida, (no basements for trains) I’ve been slowly auctioning my layout of over 250 cars, 16 locos. This week, it’s my KATO, Kansas City Southern, F-7, A-B-A, “Southern Belle”set. All 3 units are powered, have been well maintained, and run good. The “B” unit has one knuckle coupler/one Rapido coupler, one ...“A” unit is Rapido, the other is knuckle, so depending on direction, this 3-loco combo can pull any type of car. These locos were my first attempt at painting N-scale, and the paint jobs leave a lot to be desired.....several drips and bubbles. Although they don’t look too bad with the KCS Southern Belle passenger cars (factory painted) that I will be selling next week, they’re still not very good. Please look at the photos carefully...what you see is what you get. There are no returns or refunds. Obvious flaws include missing horns on one “A” unit, and coupler spacers added to the “B” unit.
