Artisan made with attention to details for that period. Reproduction of early 18th century wood slat back Shaker chair with woven seat. Seat appears to be woven of very soft suede like fabric. Shakers preferred fabric over rush or cane because it was so functional.
Unfortunately not signed, but obviously the work of a very accomplished artist. Looks a lot like the chairs made by Jane and BillHaskell's Shaker Miniatures, but since there is no signature, can...'t say they made it.
Approx. size: 4" tall x 1 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" on side.
