Fresh to the market from a Kansas City estate bid high to add this great set of sterling silver napkin rings to your collection or as a gift. I don't know how to read the hallmark or date stamp so I have added several close up photos for your perusal. The makers mark is E B the other marks an Anchor , a Lion , and the letter S. Each ring is monogrammed. I have been informed by an alert ebayer that the mark is for Sheffield and date stamp 1917.(see photos) The box is clearly... marked inside for the jewelers WEIR & SONS and 2 locations one in DUBLIN and one in BELFAST. Irish box Irish silver? You tell me? The complete little box is a bit scuffed up however it has done it job of protecting the lovely silver napkin rings inside. Please check the photos carefully as they are a large part of the description. True antiques are becoming more and more difficult to find, when they are gone they are gone!
