New in box vintage Penn 420SS spinning reel. Very rare find! Made in USA. 5.1:1 gear ratio. Reel comes with box, manual, and lube. This reel has never been used. Still has the price tag attached. I did not notice any blemishes, which oftentimes happens just being in storage for years and years. The box is in good condition, but does have some creases and such from sitting in storage for such a long time. Also has some numbers written on the inside of the top flap. Can see this in the l...ast photo.
The reel works, but the anti-reverse is not working. It reels forward and backwards, even when you click the tab over. May be an easy fix, but cannot say for certain. Also reels a little tight for a new reel. Guessing it just needs some lube to loosing it up a little. Overall, this is a rare and very nice Penn reel!
