This listing is for a large German bisque head doll with a composition jointed body by Heinrich Handwerck. She is marked "09-12x GERMANY HANDWERCK 4" on the back of her head. The doll measures 23 inches or 58.4 cm long. She has blue glass eyes and an open mouth and holes in her ears for earrings; she is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has her original clothes, shoes and wig, this doll dates to the late 1920s early 1930s. The body is marked Heinrich Handwerck Germ...any. There is a rip in one sleeve of the dress. The doll is in very good condition with no chips or cracks to her bisque head or composition body. A nice antique doll for your collection.
