Up for auction is a Vintage Washburn No. 1031 Banjo Ukulele (Banjolele). It has patina consistent with its age and use but no structural flaws preventing this fine musical instrument from being played. Included also is the kaki soft case it has been stored in for many years. I could find no markings at all on the cloth case. I suspect put cannot prove that it is military and probably from WW2. One thing is for sure is that this Banjolele fit to the case is near perfect and whoever... originally built the case did it right. This is perfect gift for the WW2 buff who has everything if the Washburn Model # and case can be linked to WW2.
