One (1) Matchbox Moko Lesney Site Cement Mixer 3 a1, light blue body and barrel assembly; orange painted metal wheels, flat and crimped axles; A type barrel arm and wheel assembly with square blocks at the ends of the barrel arm, ENGLAND cast on the left side of arm and the barrel wheel is... a separate casting which is riveted in place; A type barrel with four ribs on the inside and eight rivet heads cast on the outside along the seam; A type body comprising engine housing and chassis showing a round top of front barrel arm supporting post, 4 mm gap between struts below rear barrel arm support, chassis is angled above and rounded below axle, engine compartment has a handle at the rear and a thin lip at the bottom. Stannard catalogue code 1 of 13. This model is in very near mint condition. It was introduced in 1953 and was sold in this type and a variation with grey plastic wheels(Mack). It is approximately 40mm in overall length. Please carefully examine the high definition photos for the original paintwork detail. The handle and barrel arm assembly are completely intact. There are no casting or mechanical defects. This site cement mixer will display as brand new. They are constructed of correct weight tag board. They are laser printed so they will be somewhat glossier than an original Lesney era box, which was printed with lithography. 2. Grading:VNM = Very Near Mint. The paintwork is, for all practical purposes, close to new. Original factory flaws will be noted in the listing if they exist. All original accessories are present.
NM = Near Mint. Restoration unnecessary. The paintwork is nearly perfect, clean, shiny and bright on all exterior surfaces (except for possibly the base, if painted). Original, virgin paintwork approaches 100% with the possible exception of any factory paint flaws or very minor storage (not impact) wear. Negligible rolling use of the wheels may be present. The model is mechanically perfect. All original appliques and accessories are present.
EXC = Excellent. Minor paintwork and/or applique imperfections may exist, usually due to improper storage, not play, and will be evident in the photos. Paintwork imperfections may have been restored. Decals or other appliques may have been replaced with replicas. For this grade, no mechanical problems exist, including windows, if applicable, and no such repairs have ever been performed, in our opinion. Minor wheel use may be evident. All original accessories are usually present for this grade. If not, what is missing or replaced with replica parts will be disclosed. 3.
