Great vintage 1988 War Of Independence Texas Schooner Ship Model Kit by Lindberg - Unbuilt - from the USA made Classic Replica Series in 1:79 scale.The hull is about 13” long. - box notes complete model is 18” long.Per the instructions:“This is the most famous ship of the fable to Texas Navy which sailed for the Lone Star State during that brief period of Texas history when it was an independent republic.”Lindberg kit No. 711We have carefully reviewed the parts as the kit has b...een stored for years - a few parts are off the sprues but have been photographed next to their original position. All parts and sprues have been bagged.There are a couple of issues as noted in taking inventory:Part #27, the steering wheel support, has broken off of the sprue and will need some modeling skills to reassemble. ( see close up picture )Part #54, the combo units, of 10 total parts , 3 are complete and still attached to sprue, 3 are complete but loose, then we have 4 with top halves but only two lower chains which are separated. So the intrepid modeler will have to fashion a couple of small bits ( see close up picture )Box is solid but naturally shows some storage wear.
