Original Description:
Here is a stunning completely handmade wrought iron weathervane featuring a rooster.  It is probably French, judging by the style and complexity of the ironwork and dates 19th or 20th century.  Directional arrow and rooster pivots easily on stem in the wind while the central staff with finial stays fixed to the roof.  Measures 34.5" wide and 35.5" tall.  
CONDITION:  Good overall, no breaks or losses visible.  Weather vane has thick black paint to ...the metal with areas of rust showing underneath.  Could be restored.
