PRE-PRODUCTION or EARLY PRODUCTION SAMPLES of
THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS "MINI GOOPER" GHOSTS - "BRAIN MATTER" and "STOMACH STUFF"
(Kenner 1988, Second Series)
As a former Kenner employee myself, I am selling this item on behalf of a former co-worker and long-time friend who worked as a Product Manager in Kenner Marketing on The Real Ghostbusters line. This is a pair of "MINI GOOPER" Ghosts PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLES in simple plastic bags. This is how they ...were received by the Product Manager and kept among their Kenner mementos. Kenner introduced The Real Ghostbusters in 1987. These MINI GOOPER GHOSTS were part of the Second Series in 1988. Each of these have removable and interchangeable heads that can be filled with 1 ounce of Ecto-Plasm. - BRAIN MATTER (blue): Very good condition. Does not show any copyright imprint. - STOMACH STUFF (yellow/green): Very good condition. Bottom has a copyright imprint that says "(c) 1987 Col. Pict. Made In China". Note: Some would call these "PROTOTYPES". Personally, I think that term is over-used and perhaps not used correctly. These pieces are certainly PRE-PRODUCTION or EARLY PRODUCTION SAMPLES, directly from the Kenner Marketing Product Manager's mementos. The carded package is a "stock photo" of the finished product found online. It is NOT included. Will ship worldwide at cost based on buyer's location (click Shipping tab).
