If you are looking for a 1/48 Focke-Wulf FW-190 D9 that is finished to an extremely high level, this is your plane. For your consideration is an incredible vintage model which was built, painted and detailed by a true craftsman modeler. Please look closely at the pictures. I have tried to capture the plane from all angles and close up to give you a true appreciation for the quality. Ea...ch plane is a one of a kind work of art. Untold hours into each one of these creations including the build, painting (the airbrush work on some of these is fantastic) and the intricate detailing. These are pictures of the actual plane up for sale. When it is gone, it is gone. This would make a wonderful display piece alone or as part of a larger diorama. Many of these models have the original kit instructions included that describe the plane (I will include it in the photos if available). Most of these were modeled with the landing gear down, but if they are operational I will photo the plane with them down. Why buy a mass produced die-cast metal piece when you can have a one of a kind vintage craftsman model.
This is part of a large collection that we are processing and preparing for sale. There are various scales, subject matter and condition of aircraft. There will be lots with more than one aircraft, lots with junkyard or parts aircraft and everything in between. Plenty of opportunities for diorama or scratch-building skill improvement or refinement!
Please consider following my page as I will be adding new item for the next several months.
Please open the box carefully upon receipt. The aircraft will be packed as secure as possible for shipping and I will reinforce the box to prevent any risk of parts falling out during shipping. As this is a plastic model and can be fragile, it is possible that something might break off during shipping, my method for shipping will allow for the part to be located easily and re-attached. I recommend Tamiya thin cement for any repairs you might have to make. Thank you for looking and good luck with your bidding!Payment is expected within two days after closing bid, please contact me for exceptions or to combine shipping. I will typically ship within 2-3 days of payment being made. There has been a past issue of unpaid items making it necessary for me to state the following:I cannot stress enough, if you win the auction and cannot make payment within the expected time, please contact me. I am fully capable of understanding the need to wait to be paid from work or (for you lucky folks who retired) a pension or Social Security check. I will hold the item until you make payment, but I cannot read minds so please say something before hand!
Again:Please note that these are delicate models and not toys. Most were built over the last 4 decades and include many small details as you see in the pictures. The pictures represent the model as it currently exists, please review carefully. Please also note that we pack securely in the box and that it is possible with the shipping service that something might fall off the model (such as a prop, bomb, fuel tank, etc) please take a moment and contact me and I will do everything I can to walk you through repairing it. If the damage appears to be from shipping, please take a picture and send it. I will respond within the hour typically and will work to resolve any issues. Please check my feedback, 100%, which shows the amount of care I take with all sales to make sure the customer is happy.
