This is a remarkable, chunky, flapper length, vintage Venetian millefiori glass bead necklace with aventurine spirals on oval, graduated beads. The canes are multicoloured, some very detailed. There are small aventurine beads between most of the beads, approx 5mm x 4mm. The largest bead is huge, approx 28mm x 20mm and the smallest millefiori bead approx 11mm x 7.5mm. It measures approx 905mm long with no catch. I think it would date to the art deco era.
