Really nice matching set of curling stones owed by G.R. Kerr from Guernsey, Saskatchewan. I don't know if this is a relative to Nancy Kerr or any of the other famous Kerr's in curling history but a nice set nonetheless. The stones weigh 40.02 oz and 40.5 oz. each and both measure 35" in diameter. I don't know much about curling but the stones appear to be in excellent condition with no damage. Very smooth. The handles appear to be nickel with celluloid grips. One of the leather r...ings under the handle is signed G.R. Kerr as is the front of the wooden case which is also marked Guernsey on the top. This is heavy so shipping will not be cheap. I only charge actual shipping costs and do not charge for packing or handling. Whatever it cost me to ship these it will cost you. That said, the ebay shipping calculator is NOT accurate. Please wait until the auction had ended and I have your address so I can give you an accurate cost for shipping and insurance. I will quote UPS but it will probably be cheaper via Greyhound bus lines or another shipper but eby doesn't allow people to quote with those options. If you pay before I give you a shipping quote to your address and it cost me more to ship, then you will be charged the extra cost. I don't make a dime off of shipping but I don't want it to cost me either.
