This auction features a Scarce Vintage 1958 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE CONVERTIBLE Auto Dealership Promotional Toy Vehicle.
This is a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible auto dealership promotional friction toy. A truly detailed promo vehicle, this piece has some issues but doesn't affect the displaying of this truly neat car! We are unsure if this is made by Heller or not; it probably is.
The windshield frame; wing windows; visors and steering wheel are unbroken; in which they are typic...ally found broken.
The windshield is yellowed (typical); the top boot has been replaced and the top of the trunk has cracks. We removed the top boot to show that it can be fixed properly as it's just held on with tape.
All wheels turn properly but the friction feature doesn't work when pulled back. Probably could be easily fixed? There is sticker residue on the bottom.
Box has handwritten collector's notes on one end flap and original paper towel wrapping as found.
Total length is about 8 1/4". A wonderful, really neat display piece that is hard to find!
