This is a great looking larger-sized antique mid-to-late 19th Century oil on canvas portrait painting of a beautiful young lady with an 1850s era hairstyle. This old painting looks to have been restored with wax onto a newer canvas backing some... years ago with heavy in painting mostly on the body. She is housed in an impressive just so decorated wooden frame that also looks to date to the late 19th or early 20th century. Overall a nice-looking heavily restored painting that is ready for display with Light Beige wear to the re gilted frame. Solid as can be and ready for display.
