Here today for your consideration is a beautiful vintage 1957, all original, tagged Jill doll velvet coat, fur bandeau style hat, fur collar, and fur hand warmer made by Vogue the first year Ginny's big sister Jill was produced. Although Im not the original owner this beautiful ensemble appears to be in like new condition, well taken care of and stored properly. The darling tagged green velvet A line swing coat with fur cuffs has no issues, it's crisp and clean with no holes, no tears,... no unwanted marks and no odors, closing in the front with three intact painted green snaps. The only thing I could mention is the coat has a very small area that needs a little time to flatten out from storage, it's shown in the pictures on the right side near the hem. The strings of velvet fabric shown on the inside of the coat are not in the seams or flaws, it's just characteristic of velvet fabric. The fur collar is not attached to the coat nor was it ever, closing in the front with an original single hook and eye. The fur hand warmer has a satin cord loop to go on Jill's wrist. The matching fur bandeau style hat has an elastic chin strap, in the pictures I have it under the models hair in the back. All of the fur pieces are perfect with no missing fur. Please note you will be bidding on everything shown in picture #3 only, the doll and her shoes are not included. The model is wearing a half slip (not included) under the coat for added swing effect.
