Vintage "Sheaffer Lifetime" Fountain Pen-Jade Green-Ring Top-14K Nib-USA 1930sThe W.A. Sheaffer Pen Company in Fort Madison, Iowa was founded around 1913 by Walter A. Sheaffer, an American creative mind and businessman. Back in those days Walter Sheaffer dedicated his life savings to develop the first commercially succesful lever-filler, patented in 1908. The company's emblem is a white dot which was first applied in 1924 and symbolizes Sheaffer’s Lifetime Warranty. Sheaffer is consi...dered to be one of the most important historical producers of fountain pens and is known for its diamond-shaped inlaid nib, its Snorkel & Touchdown filling-mechanism and its White Dot.
