Up for consideration is fine Oaxacan Folk Art Eagle Carving in the Style of Manuel Jimenez. The piece is unsigned and measures about 15 inches tall by 16 inches in length...It is very well done...with great coloration. These things are very fragile ...this one has some issues at the beak...the tail feather is missing on the outer edge...and some claws are missing...on the lower foot...well that doesnt mean you can't enjoy it because it looks great...this one is probably early a...s it really doesnt have the vibrant contrasting colors that the contemporary ones have...Please see photos as part of the description.
