EXCEPTIONAL Vintage c.1910 Royal Copenhagen Porcelain “The Sandman” Umbrella Figurine # 1145.Beautifully hand painted, heavy gold plating / leafing, extremely detailed.This piece was modeled by Christian Thomson c.1909.This is the much more difficult to find Gold Sandman.Clearly marked at the underside with the earlier Royal Copenhagen markings and reads 1145 CMX 1 DENMARK. Piece measures approximately 6 1/4” tall, 3” wide and 3” front to back.I see no chips, cracks, breaks o...r repairs. Just a beautiful piece of Copenhagen porcelain.
