Original Description:
Up for auction is a primitive antique wood hand carved washboard or creek board. It measures approximately 20 3/4" long x 6 3/4" wide and has a carved eagle at the top with a star and banner. I have no idea of the age or origin of this piece but it is quite attractive and displays wonderfully. It is in nice condition but does have surface wear, cracks, etc. It does not look like it has been used a lot but does have surface wear which gives it a nice patina. Unfortunately, it appears so...mebody has stained the piece at some point covering up the natural wood color. Again, I am unsure of the exact age so low opening bid. *I have replaced previous pictures with outdoor pictures for better lighting. I apologize for the bad quality of the previous pictures, they didn't do this piece justice. Shipping is $12.00 within the United States.
