Up for auction is a vintage Conn USA "Shooting Stars alto saxophone; serial number marking 4694. The horn is non functional as it sits and will need a full overhaul to bring it up to playing condition. The lacquer is all down to raw brass and it has picked up a nice patina. There is scarring from previous dent work, a few joints need resoldered, dents in the bow, and a keyguard is crushed in. It will need a full overhaul including pads, corks, and a regulation / adjustment.
