The Beatles 1968 Yellow Submarine 100% Authentic Beatles Sheffield Yellow Submarine Alarm Clock !!! << THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ENDING FRIDAY MAY 31st @ 11:30am EST >> Offered is a beautiful 100% authentic original 1968 Beatles Yellow Submarine Alarm Clock as mfg in West Germany by the Sheffield Watch Company in 1968. This was the only officially licensed Beatles Alarm Clock made in the 1960s that was fully licensed ...by The Beatles licensing company, King Features Subafilms Limited in 1968. There was no earlier 1964 Beatles licensed clock made, only this one. This very rare German made Beatles alarm clock also had a companion piece made by the Sheffield clock company: the ultra rare Yellow Submarine LOVE wristwatch! Keep a lookout for that piece... it's another rarity that's quite hard to find! Now back to this piece...This auction is for the very colorful and very psychedelically machine painted alarm clock!!! This alarm clock is an original vintage 1968 Yellow Submarine Sheffield alarm clock that is in Excellent to Near Mint condition. The sides are tin lithography painting on metal with swirling colors with many "LOVE" banners all around the sides... it could be called The Beatles LOVE Alarm Clock! It is complete with all the original brass knobs and accoutrements. The front dome is actually made of glass and it's in Near Mint condition with no wear. All the functions of the clock work including the alarm. We wound the clock and it kept time within a few minutes over a 24 hour period. The backside has instructions stamped into the metal back plus it's stamped WEST GERMANY on the backside. The dial features The Beatles on top of their Yellow Submarine and below is printed BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE in bold red and pink lettering. The dial also features raised Glow In The Dark phosphorus dots on each of the hour markers! The red painted hour and minute hands also have Glow In The Dark phosphorus paint on them. Under the number 6 hour marker at the bottom of the dial in very tiny letters it reads WESTERN GERMANY.We grade the clock Excellent to Near Mint condition. It's in super nice condition with no condition issues so it's definitely worthy to be in any serious Beatles memorabilia collection! We guarantee your complete satisfaction! LASTLY: We are also including a color laser copy of the original display box that it came with; it's a nice addition that we bought from BeatleBay, and we are including it as it's a great display item to accompany the original 1968 Alarm Clock!
