Fakes are blatant, shameless trash, costing their makers the bare minimum and fooling buyers long enough only to take their money. Online, sorting fake from real can be easy. Simply insist on seeing wheel interiors before you buy. All but the earliest models have copyright details moulded into the interior face of each wheel. Such moulds add manufacturing cost and facilitate prosecution, so fakes have blank wheels or nonsense inscriptions, usually the former. Anyone selling authentic Thomas trains will be eager to prove it, which is why my listings give you pictures of the copyright marks.COMPATIBILITY Magnetic couplers.
